ABSTRACT:Copper Mountain Mining Corp. acquired the Copper Mountain project in late 2006 and following extensive exploration and engineering studies during the years from 2007 to 2009 determined the project should be placed into production. With the completion of permitting, construction was initiated in early 2010 and the current phase of open pit mining on the site began in August of 2011. The mill was designed to process 35,000t/d but struggled to achieve that level of production, primarily due to very hard, difficult to break rock. A secondary crushing circuit between the primary crusher and the SAG mill was selected as the best solution to increase production and construction on the secondary crusher was initiated in late 2013 and completed in July, 2014. The addition of the secondary crusher has resulted in higher mill throughput, with 40,000t/day as the benchmark targeted for mid to late 2015. The higher mill throughput requires an updated mine plan which together with a significant amount of new exploration drilling completed between 2010 and 2014, and substantial new information on the controls of mineralization gained from three years of mining and reconciliation studies provides the basis for new resource and reserve estimates and updated mine plan. This report has been amended from the original report which had an effective date of March 30th, 2015 in order to address issues identified by the British Columbia Securities Commission. This amended report does not include any new data and there are no material changes to any interpretations, results or conclusions. Specific items amended are: within the sections on classification of resources and reserves, the quoted definitions from CIM Definition Standards (2005) have been replaced with those from CIM Definition Standards (2014). Additionally, the following items have been added to the report: Item 17, Recovery Methods; Item 18, Project Infrastructure; Item 19, Market Studies and Contracts; and Item 20, Environmental Studies, Permitting and Social or Community Impact.
