| ABSTRACT: | Consolidated Zinc Limited (ASX:CZL) is pleased to provide an update of the latest extensional and infill resource definition drilling campaign at Plomosas mine in Mexico. Tables 1 and 2 summarise the hole details and assay results received. Tres Amigos North (TRN) mineralisation is hosted in graphitic shales, in the immediate hanging wall to the Juarez Limestone. The TRN area is highly deformed, with both the shales and mineralisation exhibiting strong to isoclinal folding, while the more competent underlying Juarez Limestone displays only minimal shearing at the contact. It is possible that the TRN mineralisation pre‐dates the deformation episode and represents a high‐grade feeder zone that has been sheared and displaced from its original location. Deformation here is commonly folding with boudinages. | |
