ABSTRACT:Consolidated Zinc is pleased to announce further intersections of massive sulphide and results from underground diamond drilling at the Plomosas mine designed to test the limits and infill the mineralisation encountered at Level 7 Deeps and Tres Amigos (Figures 5, 6). Drilling commenced from a newly established drill cuddy 7.2 which is 150m north of the previous drilling position (Figure 1). Four holes have been completed, all of which intersected massive sulphide mineralisation, confirming the extension of the significant mineralisation encountered below Level 7 as previously reported by CZL. Particularly notable is hole LV7023 which intersected 8.75m of massive sulphides. Analytical results from these intersections are pending, however the style and composition of the sulphides appears similar to that encountered throughout the mine.
