| ABSTRACT: | Comet Resources Ltd (Comet or the Company) (ASX:CRL) is pleased to announce further results from recent diamond drilling conducted at its Springdale Graphite Project in southern West Australia. Comet Resources Managing Director, Matthew O’Kane, commented: “The results from HD031 confirmed the resource model’s interpreted expectation of continued high-grade graphite in the West Zone of the mineralised area, about 40m north of prior highgrade drilling results from 2016 and 2017, which gives Comet increased confidence in its resource model. Material from HD031 is undergoing metallurgical test work at Nagrom as part of our most extensive metallurgical test program to date. We look forward to providing those results, along with results from the balance of the drilling assays, in the near future ” . The recent 12 hole core drilling program was designed to primarily provide bulk sample material for detailed metallurgical test work as well as provide infill geological, and structural information on the high-grade graphite mineralisation at the Northern and Western Resource areas. | |
