| ABSTRACT: | In September 2017 Comet conducted a 220 sq km detailed aeromagnetic survey over the Springdale Graphite Project. Interpretation of this survey delineated 26 km of stratigraphy deemed to be prospective for graphite mineralisation (currently less than 20% tested). One of the high-priority targets identified was a 1.5km long magnetic low associated with high grade mineralisation in HD018. Drilling has extended this mineralisation over 800m of strike (still open along strike and at depth). This significant extension to mineralisation in the Eastern Zone and the new Northern Zone discovery confirms the prospectivity of the Springdale Project. | |
