| ABSTRACT: | Cohiba Minerals Limited (ASX: CHK) (“Cohiba” or “Company”) is pleased to advise that it has received further results from drilling at the Wee MacGregor project. These results continue to demonstrate the suspected accessory gold and cobalt endowment in addition to the known copper in the deposit, refer Map 1 for drill hole locations(holes drilled have names labelled, holes still pending do not). Initial assays have been done on two metre composite samples in order to reduce costs. Any of the composite samples returning elevated grades will be re assayed on one metre intervals as required, refer Tables 1 and 2 for hole locations and assay results for these recent holes. The following images were taken of a shear zone identified within an historic adit located approximately 50m north and beneath the grade intersection in hole GC5 reported in an earlier announcement (refer to CHK ASX announcement dated 30 August 2018). Oxide copper minerals are clearly visible (green) as well as some concentrated cobalt minerals (black blobs) within the sheared saprolitic rock as seen in figure 3. This information in correlation with the assayed grades from the hole above (GC5) allows for a preliminary three dimensional interpretation of the mineralisation and shows the grades continue to depth. This will help to better target the drilling and possibly reduce the number of holes needed in the Great Central area. | |
