ABSTRACT:Chalice Gold Mines Limited (“Chalice” or “the Company”, ASX: CHN | OTCQB: CGMLF) is pleased to report new results from exploration drilling at its 100%-owned Julimar Nickel-Copper-PGE Project located ~70km north-east of Perth in Western Australia. New assay results As reported in an ASX Announcement on 20 April 2020, the second diamond drill hole (JD002) at the Gonneville Intrusive was drilled as a ‘scissor hole’ of JRC001 (19m @ 8.4g/t Pd, 1.1g/t Pt, 2.6% Ni, 1.0% Cu, 0.14% Co from 48m), designed to intersect the high-grade Ni-Cu-Co-PGE discovery zone at a low angle in order to confirm the interpreted westerly dip of the high-grade mineralisation (Figure 1). As a result, the hole was drilled sub-parallel to the zone and intercept lengths are not true widths. Based on drilling to date, the true width of the zone is still unknown. As previously reported, based on visual indications, JD002 intersected a strongly mineralised massive and matrix sulphide zone from the base of oxidation. All assays have now been received for this hole, which show consistent high-grade Ni-Cu-Co-PGE mineralisation from surface to a depth of 101m downhole, in both oxide and fresh rock.
