ABSTRACT: | Celsius Resources Limited (“Celsius” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce further positive developments at the Opuwo Cobalt Project (“Project”) in Namibia. A total of 50 holes have now been completed by Celsius at the project, demonstrating mineralisation over more than 15 km of strike length. A key development in the past week has been the discovery of additional Dolomite Ore Formation (DOF) in a drill hole located approximately 350 metres north of the known and mapped mineralisation that has been systematically tested by the ongoing drill program (Figure 1). Further drilling will be required to determine if this is a parallel occurrence or a result of folding of the known DOF unit. “The identification of additional mineralisation approximately 350 metres north of the mapped and drill tested DOF horizon is an exciting development for the Company. We look forward to receiving the assays from these holes in the coming weeks, and following up with further drilling in this area to enhance our understanding of what this means for the Project.” These results are consistent with previous batches of results received (refer ASX releases from 20 April, 27 April, 8 May and 8 June, 2017), and importantly continue to show potential for higher grade zones within the extensive mineralised system. Mineralisation extends to surface or near surface along the entire strike length investigated to date, and has now been demonstrated to extend to a vertical depth of at least 150 metres. | |
