ABSTRACT:Castillo Copper’s Chairman Peter Meagher commented: “With assay results for half the current drilling campaign now in, the Board is highly encouraged the initial findings confirm an extensive copper and precious metal mineralisation system. The program successfully targeted sulphide mineralisation which will blend with our existing high-grade supergene ore to expand the current resource size. The Board believes there is material further upside to the mineralisation system, which explains the decision to expand the drilling program. Lastly, it was pleasing to see intersections at depth with up to 2.66% Cu, 20.7 g/t Ag and 2.35% Zn in the mix.” Castillo Copper Limited’s (“CCZ” or “the Company”) Board has received assay results for the first nine drill-holes at Cangai, which has extended the known mineralisation beyond the initial JORC modelled boundary. These assay results are highlighted by an intersection up to 2.66% Cu, 20.7 g/t Ag and 2.35% Zn. The geology team have confirmed they are targeting an expanded resource within an extensive mineralised system that comprises oxides and sulphides. However, further work is required to determine the extent of the resource.
