ABSTRACT:This Preliminary Feasibility Study has been commissioned by, and completed for, Canadian Premium Sand Inc. (CPS, or the Company); a publicly traded company with its corporate headquarters in Calgary, AB, Canada. CPS is proposing to explore and develop a high-grade silica sand extraction project in southeastern Manitoba, Canada. CPS’s flagship sand project is called the Wanipigow Sand Project and is being explored as a source of silica sand for use in a variety of markets such as tight oil and gas hydraulic fracturing operations and the glass manufacturing industry. The Property was first acquired in 2013 by Claim Post Resources Inc. who recently changed their Company name to CPS (November 15, 2018). The Wanipigow silica sand is hosted within a mature, well-rounded and quartzose sand-dominated portion of the Ordovician Winnipeg Formation of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. The intent of this National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report Preliminary Feasibility Study is to complete a comprehensive study of the technical and economic viability of the Wanipigow Silica Sand Project that has advanced to a stage where a preferred mining method is established, and an effective method of mineral processing is determined.
