ABSTRACT:VANCOUVER, Nov. 16, 2017 /CNW/ - CallinexMines Inc. (the"Company"or"Callinex") (TSX-V:CNX; OTCQX:CLLXF) is pleased to announcethat drill hole SJ17-88 intersected 1.9mofmassivesulphides grading 8.0%zincequivalent ("ZnEq.") mineralization (6.1%Zn, 1.0%Pb, 0.1%Cu and 35 g/t Ag) in the newly discovered DZoneat the Superjack Project located in the Bathurst MiningDistrict ofNewBrunswick (See Table 1). This intersection occursapproximately 100mvertically belowdrill hole SJ17-90 that discovered the DZone with 2.7mofmassive sulphides grading 6.2%ZnEq. (4.4%Zn, 0.9%Pb, 0.3%Cu and 18 g/t Ag)ata down-hole depth of 40.4m(See News Release dated September 19, 2017). Thesetwo mineralized intersectionsappear to bethe only drill holes that havetested the Dzone horizon. Further drilling is planned to test off-holetargetsand test thestrikeand depth extent ofthe newzone, which is wide open along strikeand at depth. Massivesulphide mineralization at the DZoneappears sandwiched between conductive graphiticargillites. Theseconductors, alongwithmany others, wereidentified by a 1992 horizontalloop electromagnetic("HLEM") survey but were never drilltested. The Company has subsequently completed alarge 44kmsurface pulseelectromagnetic ground survey to furtherevaluate historictargets. Preliminary results indicatesignificant untested strikelength in proximity to the A, B, C and Dzones. Drill hole SJ17-88 also intersected 2.9mofmassivesulphides grading 5.6%ZnEq. mineralization (3.9%Zn, 0.8%Pb, 0.2%Cu and 24 g/t Ag)at the BZone. Asubsequent boreholesurvey indicated there may be potentialto expand the mineralized zoneat depth and along strike. Additionally, drill hole SJ17-87 expanded the AZoneat depth by approximately 20mwith a 3.5mintersection grading 5.3%ZnEq. (3.4%Zn, 0.9%Pb, 0.3%Cu and 20 g/t Ag). Asecond drill hole, SJ17-92, wascompleted approximately 260mbeneath the AZone deposit but did not encounterany significant results. It is unclear whether this drill holeintersected the projected horizon.
