| ABSTRACT: | Calidus Resources Limited (ASX:CAI) (‘Calidus’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to provide the following update based on recent drilling results from the Coronation Prospect, which forms part of Company’s broader Warrawoona Gold Project, located in the Pilbara of Western Australia. These results are part of a resource infill and extension programme, aiming to expand the current 712,000 oz resource to underpin the commencement of a pre‐feasibility study in 2019. Calidus Managing Director Dave Reeves commented, “The latest results provide further evidence of the organic growth opportunities immediately surrounding the Klondyke resource. We currently have two drill rigs operating at Klondyke and the St George Shear with an aim to increase the Mineral Resource and build value to expand our future development options as we commence a pre‐feasibility study in early 2019. I look forward to reporting these results as they come to hand in the coming weeks.” The Coronation prospect lies along the Copenhagen Shear Zone, a subsidiary shear off the regionally extensive Klondyke Shear Zone, approximately 12km to the west of Klondyke. During 2017, Calidus Resources drilled a single HQ core hole to improve geological understanding of the prospect through the inferred position of the mineralised structure which returned a best intercept of 10m @ 3.31g/t Au from 108m downhole (17CRDD001). | |
