ABSTRACT:Botswana Metals Limited (“BML” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that a further in depth review of historical drilling results has revealed significant Cobalt intercepts which are in addition to the Cobalt results released to the ASX on 30th April 2016 (See Table 1 below). These results include intercepts from Airstrip Copper to the west of Maibele. The Company also notes that several drill holes from drilling at Takane and Maibele were not assayed for Cobalt. The presence of a drill intercept with a grade of 4,790ppm (0.21m from 141m, MADD0015) in the existing drill core along with the increasing value of Cobalt have prompted the Company to assay those drill cores that have not previously been assayed for Cobalt. BML’s focus in the past was solely on Copper and Nickel. However, the recent increase in Cobalt prices has led the Company to revisit historical drilling data. The Company will continue to review other historic drilling data, with a focus on intercepts falling within the 1,135 km2 of exploration licenses that fall outside of the 185km2 joint venture area.
