| ABSTRACT: | Black Cat’s Managing Director, Gareth Solly said: “The potential for Myhree to become a near-term open pit is improving. Myhree is already a robust, high grade, near surface resource located on a mining lease and only 30km from Kalgoorlie. The extensional drilling shows that thickness and grade continue at depth. Significantly, the northernmost line of drilling intersected the best results from Myhree to date, with thick high grade mineralisation in shallow positions. The challenge now is to determine just how big Myhree The maiden Myhree Resource at 31 December 2018 amounted to 486,000 tonnes at 3.2 g/t Au for 50,000oz. Extensional drilling at Myhree was designed to increase this Resource along strike, at depth and down plunge. In addition, infill drilling was designed to upgrade Inferred Resources to Indicated. In total, 15 holes were drilled for 1,866m – 11 extensional holes (1,308m) and five infill holes (558m). Drilling intersected prospective felsic lithologies as well as shears within the underlying ultramafic unit. | |
