| ABSTRACT: | Birimian Limited (ASX:BGS; “Birimian” and “Company”) is pleased to announce further results from its maiden Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the 100%-owned Bougouni Lithium Project (“Project”) in southern Mali (Figure 1). The Project comprises a large license area spanning some 250 km2 , and hosts the high-grade, potential bulk-tonnage Goulamina lithium deposit. On 12 July 2016 and 21 July 2016, Birimian reported results for the initial 14 RC holes of the 42 hole, 3,639m, RC drilling program at Goulamina. Substantial and robust intersections confirmed wide and high-grade lithium mineralisation at shallow depths along the central and northern portion of the Goulamina Zone. Analytical results have now been received for a further 15 RC holes targeting the southern portion of Goulamina Main Zone and Goulamina West Zone (Figure 1 and Table 1). Diamond drilling continues to evaluate lithium mineralised pegmatite at depth along the Goulamina Main Zone. To date, approximately 90% of the planned drilling has been completed. Upon completion of deeper drilling at the Main Zone, the drill rig will move to the West Zone to continue evaluating the potential of this exciting new discovery. Birimian intends to progress the drilling at the West Zone as geological understanding evolves with successive drill holes. Additional processing test work will soon commence, complementing previous test work by wellrespected CSA Global consultants that yielded a high quality, chemical grade, lithium concentrate. | |
