| ABSTRACT: | Beadell Resources Limited (Beadell or Company) is pleased to provide an exploration update from its 100% owned Tucano gold mine in northern Brazil. Robust new drilling and encouraging surface geochemical results from Tucano near mine and regional exploration programs continue to demonstrate the district scale potential at Tucano. With the dry season approaching, all exploration programs are being accelerated for the remainder of 2017. Near mine exploration drilling continues to focus on the Tap AB area where robust additional drill results have been received from extensions to multiple lodes including Tap AB1 Trough Lode, Tap AB3 Trough Lode, Carbonate Lode, Central Lode and Torres as outlined below. Commenting, Simon Jackson, CEO and Managing Director said: “The Tucano mining lease sits within a 2,500 km2 land position that is dramatically underexplored. Our exploration strategy is to not only add near term mineable ounces to reserves along the Tap AB trend but also to look for the next Tucano. The ongoing results from Tap AB and the emergence of on strike extensions including the Torres target illustrate that significant upside remains within 2 km of the Tucano plant. Regionally, we are excited about the potential at Mutum and Arara where we have now identified over 12 km of gold in soil anomalies. We look forward to reporting the results of our dry season exploration season over the remainder of this year. ” | |
