| ABSTRACT: | Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) was retained by Barrick Gold Corporation (Barrick) to prepare an independent Technical Report on the Goldstrike Mine (the Mine), in Eureka and Elko Counties, Nevada, USA. The purpose of this report is to support public disclosure of Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve estimates at the Mine as of December 31, 2018. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The effective date of the Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve estimates in this Technical Report is December 31, 2018, and information in this Technical Report is current as of that date unless otherwise specified. RPA visited the Mine on December 3 to 5, 2018. Barrick is a publicly traded Canadian mining company with a large portfolio of operating mines and projects. The Goldstrike Mine property is located within the northern Carlin Trend on the western flank of the Tuscarora Mountains in Eureka and Elko Counties, north central Nevada, USA, approximately 38 mi northwest of Elko and 25 mi north of the town of Carlin. | |
