| ABSTRACT: | Amec Foster Wheeler International Ingeniería y Construcción Limitada (Amec Foster Wheeler) and Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) have prepared a report (the Report) documenting Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves for Austral Gold Limited (Austral Gold) on the Guanaco Mine, and Mineral Resources for the Amancaya deposit (collectively the Guanaco Gold Project or the Project), located in the Antofagasta Region in Chile. The Amancaya property is approximately 60 km southwest of the Guanaco Mine. The Project is held by Austral Gold Limited through its wholly-owned subsidiary Guanaco Mining Company Ltd (GMC). GMC has a 99.99% interest in Guanaco Compañia (Cía.) Minera SpA (Minera Guanaco), the subsidiary entity in Chile that owns and currently operates the Guanaco Mine. For the purposes of this Report, “Minera Guanaco”, when used by Amec Foster Wheeler, refers interchangeably to the parent and subsidiary companies. RPA uses the “Austral Gold” to refer to the parent and subsidiary companies in the sections authored by RPA. Information on the Guanaco Mine was prepared by Amec Foster Wheeler. Information on the Amancaya property was prepared by RPA. Minera Guanaco is currently evaluating scenarios whereby the Amancaya mineralization can be treated at the Guanaco Mine. This Report was prepared using Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves definitions set out in accordance with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum 2014 Definition Standards, and has been prepared in the format of a Technical Report (the Report) following the item headings and content requirements in the Form NI 43- 101 F1. Amec Foster Wheeler notes that neither Austral Gold nor Minera Guanaco are listed issuers or reporting issuers in Canada. | |
