| ABSTRACT: | Ausmex Mining Group (ASX: AMG) (“Ausmex” or “The Company”) is pleased to announce the continued run of recent RC drilling success with high‐grade copper results intersected by a recent maiden scout exploration drilling at “The Trump” mining lease, ML 2549. The high‐ grade copper results at “The Trump” are the third set of consecutive high‐grade copper drilling results Ausmex has released this year. High grade copper results at “The Trump” together with drilling program at the “Joker” prospect (see ASX: AMG announcement 19th January 2018) and “The Answer Mining Lease” ML2517 (see ASX: AMG announcement 29th January 2018), have together indicated promising copper potential. A sixteen‐hole scout RC drilling program was completed late December 2017, seizing the opportunity Ausmex had with RC drill rigs returning from completing the nearby “The Answer” RC drilling program. As the initial geology interpretation was unknown, RC drill holes were located where terrain and vegetation permitted. Five of the total sixteen RC holes have been validated and interpreted (refer X‐section 01 above), with the remaining nine RC holes due for validation and interpretation within the next 7 days (refer to the drill hole location plan above). It is worth noting that the additional RC holes drilled approximately 100m along strike to the north east of X Section 01, under outcropping malachite (copper oxide), also appear to have intersected additional thick zones of copper mineralisation. These holes are included in the current validation and interpretation with subsequent reporting due within seven days. | |
