| ABSTRACT: | Ausmex Mining Group (ASX: AMG) (“Ausmex” or “The Company”) is pleased to announce that RC drilling at the Golden Mile continues to define additional high-grade gold mineralisation including an additional ~100 m strike length extension to known mineralisation at the Comstock Mine. The Golden Mile located within the Mt Freda Complex consists of eight parallel north-south striking high grade historical gold mines situated across a 2 km wide zone. The eight historical gold mines have a combined total strike length over 8 km. The high grades achieved from drilling at the Golden Mile reflect the high grades reported in the Qld Mines Dept. historical reports with the Falcon having an average grade during production of 40.7 g/t Au and the Shamrock 90 g/t Au. The company will continue to dedicate RC and Diamond Core drilling rigs to both the Golden Mile and Mt Freda high grade gold mines, with the aim of defining a large high-grade gold mineral estimate potentially amenable to a large open cut, bulk mining operation. The Golden Mile Prospect is a JV Ausmex 80% and Round Oak Minerals Pty Ltd (subsidiary of WH Soul Pattison). Under the JV agreement Ausmex has an option to process all of the Gold ore won from the Golden Mile at the Round Oak Minerals Gold processing plant in Cloncurry. | |
