ABSTRACT:Ausgold Limited (ASX:AUC) (“Ausgold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results from a reverse circulation (“RC”) drill program at its 100%-owned Katanning Gold Project (“KGP”) in the South West Yilgarn Craton. A total of 23 RC holes were drilled for 2,728m with the drill program designed to test mineralisation along strike and also to test potential beyond the current Resource areas, with the aim of adding to the current JORC Resource (25.1Mt at 1.29 grams of gold per tonne for 1.04 Moz). This new drilling has targeted extensions to high-grade mineralisation at Jackson and has tested several new areas including Jinkas North and Lukin prospects (Figure 1). Jackson Drilling at Jackson included 10 RC holes for 974m in the southern portion of the Jackson Resource area, with the aim to providing better controls on mineralisation. Jackson is the western most portion of the current Mineral Resource, with gold mineralisation dipping towards the east and underlying the White Dam and Jinkas lodes. Recent drilling has tested the southern portions of the current Jackson Resource, where previous drilling was conducted at wide-spacings of up to 120m. New drilling results has intersected high grade mineralisation at shallow depths in BSRC0886 (Figures 2 and 3).
