| ABSTRACT: | Further to its ASX release of 29th November, AusQuest Limited (ASX: AQD) is pleased to report further encouraging results from the maiden diamond drilling program at its Cerro de Fierro Iron-Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) Project in southern Peru. Following the recently reported results for holes CDFDD02 and 03, assays received for holes CDFDD04, 05 and 06 have significantly extended the potential size of the mineralised system while still returning encouraging copper and gold grades. The initial drill-holes are widely spaced and designed as a first-pass test of the prospect. The broad zones of copper and/or gold mineralisation are associated with iron and potassic alteration, supporting the original concept of an IOCG system.
