| ABSTRACT: | AuStar Gold Limited (ASX: AUL) (‘AuStar’ or ‘the Company’) provides the following update in relation to its current drilling program at the Rose of Denmark gold mine: CEO Mr Tom de Vries said “Drilling in the Northern end of the Rose of Denmark continues to return significant results in line with the mineralization style consistently identified to date. The obvious and continued success of the drilling program further supports the strategy that the Company’s next step could include a bulk sample program, to ascertain the strike length of these ore zones as well as the likely gold grade of the payable runs, given that nuggetty gold regimes generally produce an upgrade in the actual grade of the gold when compared to the results gained just from diamond drilling”. This set of assay results and previous were from drilling in and above the known workings close to the engine room dyke bulge. Consequently, old workings were intersected several times. The drilling closer to the engine room dyke bulge has identified significant increases in alteration, sulphide mineralization and visible gold. ROD 021 has 4 identified visible gold occurrences and holes ROD017, ROD018, ROD019, ROD021 have yet to be submitted to the lab for assaying. Diamond drilling is currently progressing towards the adit entrance in the south. | |
