| ABSTRACT: | AuStar Gold Limited (ASX: AUL) (‘AuStar Gold’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to provide an update in relation to the recent round of diamond drilling at the Morning Star Gold Mine. CEO Mr Tom de Vries said: “This latest drilling has delivered some of the best high-grade gold drill hole results achieved by AuStar Gold since it acquired the Morning Star gold mine and can be described as exceptional. A grade in excess of 870g/t is equivalent to over 28 ounces per tonne in the old measure and can be considered truly high-grade by any standard. This round of exploration drilling from the No. 7 Level has now been successfully completed. We have identified two highly prospective structures, both of which have yet to be completely closed off. Further drilling will now be undertaken from different locations to define the extents and enable full economic assessment.” “As part of our in-mine exploration strategy we have now commenced drilling the next target area previously identified, while we continue to collate and analyse all relevant data from these recent drilling results” As previously reported in recent ASX announcements, AuStar has now completed the first round of drilling into an area of the Stone reefs between 8 Level and 9 Level of the Morning Star gold mine and into the McNally Reef around the 7 Level (Figure2).
