| ABSTRACT: | VANCOUVER, April 4, 2018 /CNW/ - Atlantic GoldCorporation (TSX-V: AGB) ("Atlantic" orthe "Company") is pleased to report finalassay results received fromthe Phase 3 Resource Expansion drilling programat the Cochrane Hill gold deposit. As per previous news releases the objectives ofthe Phase 3 Resource Expansion drilling programat Cochrane Hillwereto identify additional gold resources immediately peripheralto thoseresources previously defined and to upgradeinferred resources to measured and indicated categories. Assay results fromthe Phase 3 Resource Expansion drilling programconducted concurrently at the FifteenMile Streamgold deposits havealready been received and previously reported. The Cochrane HillGold deposit is located approximately 80kmnortheast ofthecentral processing facility at Touquoy and is readily accessible by highway. Cochrane Hill'scurrentmeasured and indicated mineralresources stand at 10.66 million tonnesat 1.16 g/t Au for 398,000 oz.at 0.35g/t cut-off grade. Inferred mineralresourcesamount to 1.63 million tonnesat 1.32 g/t Au for 69,000 oz.at 0.35g/tcut-off grade(see Company announcementJuly 21, 2017) 1 . The Phase 3 Resource Expansion drilling programat Cochrane Hill has been completed with 44 holes for 6,900mhaving been drilled. The Cochrane Hill deposit isafairly predictableand continuous tabular body dipping about 70 o to the northwith an averagetrue width of approximately 15-20m. These holes have been drilled on 25mx 20mcentres to test for resourceextensions ofthis body eastwardsand at depth to the northeast.
