ABSTRACT:Simon Meadows Smith of SEMS Exploration Services Ltd (“SEMS”) and Dr. Paul Klipfel of Mineral Resource Services Inc. (“MRS”) have jointly prepared this technical report (“Report”) on the Anumso Gold Project, Ghana, at the request of Ashanti Gold Corp. (“AGC”) of Vancouver, B.C. This report is written in compliance with disclosure and reporting requirements set forth in the Canadian Securities Administrators’ National Instrument 43-101, Companion Policy 43-101CP, and Form 43-101F1 (“NI 43- 101”). AGC, formerly Gulf Shores Resources Ltd, has signed a Letter of Intent (“LOI”) dated July 12, 2016 between AGC and Goldplat plc (“Goldplat”), an AIM listed company based in South Africa. Goldplat has agreed to grant to AGC, an exclusive option to acquire up to seventy-five percent (75%) of Goldplat’s direct and indirect interest in their share of the Anumso Mining Licence in Ghana. The Ghana government retains a ten percent (10%) free carried interest in all Mining Leases in Ghana, thus the total interest AGC can earn is 67.5%. This report provides technical information on the Anumso Mining Lease (“the Property”) which will be AGC’s principal mineral property. Information presented here is based on geological data provided by Goldplat and its contractors as well as independent information gained by both authors’ search of public documents, publications by the Ghana Geological Survey, Ghana Minerals Commission and information available on the internet as well as property inspections.
