ABSTRACT:Anova Metals Limited (ASX: AWV, “Anova Metals or Company”) is pleased to announce the final assay results from the recently completed drilling program at its 100% owned Big Springs Project in north‐ eastern Nevada, USA (refer Figure 4 below). The initial program focused on resource extensions at the South Sammy and Beadles Creek deposits, together with geotechnical drilling at the North Sammy deposit. AWV16‐061 drilled through a number of stacked mineralised horizons, the most significant of which returned a standout intersection of 10.7m @ 30.9 g/t Au from 112.7m, including 3.0m @ 60.4 g/t Au from 118.9m (Figure 1). This exceptional intersection is outside the limits of the currently modelled resource envelopes and extends a high‐grade zone previously intersected by AWV16‐055 (4.6m @ 5.8 g/t Au) to the south (See ASX release 3 November 2017). AWV16‐061 was terminated at 228.6m and ended in mineralisation. The high‐grade zones intersected by AWV16‐061 and the previously reported AWV16‐055 will be incorporated into updated underground and open pit mine designs in advance of commencing mining at the 601 deposit in 2017. Further drill testing of the southern parts of the 601 Zone is anticipated for 2017 as it appears that the majority of historical holes were terminated too shallow to adequately test this area. Results received for AWV16‐052 drilled approximately 90 metres northeast of AWV16‐061 and targeting northern extensions of the 601 deposit returned a minor intersection of 1.5m @ 1.3 g/t Au. Geological and geotechnical logging identified a fault zone that appears to truncate the target mineralised shoots.
