| ABSTRACT: | Anglo Australian Resources NL (“Anglo Australian” or the “Company”) (ASX: AAR) is pleased to advise that the second round aircore drilling campaign at its Feysville Gold Project has been completed with a significant new prospect named “Think Big” identified. The campaign involved the drilling of 80 holes for a total of 2,565 metres, for an average depth of approximately 32 metres per hole. It is important to note that the purpose of relatively shallow aircore drilling is to identify targets for further investigation by later deeper drilling by way of reverse circulation and/ or diamond drilling methods. Drilling traverses were positioned perpendicular to the strike of the shear zone with holes drilled at -60° towards 230° or 50°. All holes were drilled to blade refusal; however, on occasions, the AC hammer was used to penetrate harder rock. For the second aircore drilling campaign, work was focussed at the southern end of the Ethereal Shear Zone to follow-up a 300-metre wide traverse of anomalous gold discovered during the initial campaign. The second round aircore drilling campaign successfully identified a coherent +1 km long anomalous +200 ppb gold trend at the new “Think Big” prospect (refer yellow outline in map below). The trend encompasses a higher grade +1 g/t Au core that runs for approximately 200 metres along strike, with maximum results of up to 3.57 g/t Au (red outline). The location of the Think Big prospect is very close to the interpreted position of the regional Ethereal Shear Zone | |
