ABSTRACT:This report on the Phum Syarung Project (Phum Syarung) has been prepared by Cmi Capital Limited (CMI) for Angkor Gold Corp. (Angkor), a public listed company which trades on the Toronto Venture Exchange (TSXV). Phum Syarung is located in north-eastern Cambodia in the province of Ratanakiri, about 350 km NE of the capital city of Phnom Penh and 46 km to ESE of the regional centre of Banlung. In late 2009 Angkor executed an option agreement to acquire all of the shares in Transol. During 2013, in a series of transactions, a 12 km2 portion of the Oyadao South Exploration Licence, known as Phum Syarung, was sold to Mesco Gold (Cambodia) Co., Ltd (Mesco). Angkor retained a sliding scale Net Smelter Return interest (the Royalty) ranging from 2.0% to 7.5% of the value of metals produced. A mining license was issued to Mesco by the Cambodian Ministry of Mines on September 6, 2016. The Mining Lease is for an initial term of 5 years and can be renewed for an additional two terms of 10 years each. From 2009 through 2013, Angkor undertook geochemical and geophysical programs and drilled 1,990 metres in 19 drillholes. CMI has reviewed the exploration and assay data and undertaken independent check sampling of drillcore and it is our opinion that the works were conducted to a reasonable industry standards. Following the sale of the property to Mesco, topographic, geochemical and geophysical surveys were conducted, for which no information is available for review. Mesco has completed at least two phases of diamond drilling totalling 1,279 metres. The results of this drilling which are only partially known to Angkor, have been reviewed by CMI and in our opinion the related reports are not compliant with NI 43- 101 and the results and conclusions, not suitable for public disclosure and are not reported in the Technical Report.
