| ABSTRACT: | Amani Gold Limited (ASX: ANL, Amani) reports results for the final 3 diamond holes for inclusion in the maiden mineral resource to be reported in June for Kebigada on its Giro Gold Project in the Moto Greenstone Belt, NE Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The diamond drill rig will continue drilling at Kebigada where a six diamond hole programme has been planned to test for depth extensions of high grade shoots below the current level of drilling, which could add to the resource in future. Results for the remaining RC holes with samples currently in the laboratory are expected by the end of May. The Company is on track to release its maiden mineral resource estimate for Kebigada in June. Chairman Klaus Eckhof stated: “The infill drilling has produced some very significant high grade results which importantly are open at depth and along strike. The additional drilling planned to target depth extensions of high grade zones could demonstrate a high grade underground project might potentially be defined at Kebigada. We are now very much looking forward to delivering to shareholders our maiden mineral resource at Kebigada within a few weeks and we are confident that the recently completed infill drilling will demonstrate the continuity of mineralisation, which together with recently reported high grade results will be reflected in the resource estimate.” | |
