| ABSTRACT: | The Southern Cross North Property (“the Property” or “Southern Cross North Property Project” or “the Project”), located 360 km east of Perth, Western Australia, comprises 14 exploration tenements covering approximately 23.7 km2 which are prospective for gold. Title to the Southern Cross North Project Prospecting Licences is held by Surveyor Resources Pty Ltd (SRPL). Altan Rio Minerals Limited (Altan Rio or “the Company”) is earning an 80% undivided interest in the tenements. The earn-in period is five years from the date of execution of the Term Sheet, dated 25 September 2019. The Project is located on agricultural land immediately north of the town of Southern Cross. which provides a suitable base for exploration. Electrical transmission lines, water pipeline, bitumen roads, mine haul roads traverse the Project area, and a major highway and a national railway pass through Southern Cross. The regional mining centre of Kalgoorlie lies 220 km to the east. Two gold mineral processing facilities, operated by third parties, are located within 75 km of the Project, at Marvel Loch and Westonia. These mills have existing arrangements in place for the toll treatment of gold mineralisation of third-party miners. The Southern Cross North Property is elongated in a north-northwest direction covering an approximate 28 km strike length of the Archean-aged Southern Cross Greenstone Belt which hosts numerous gold deposits. | |
