| ABSTRACT: | This report was prepared to provide a Technical Report compliant with the provisions of National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, (“NI 43-101”), and comprises a Resource and Reserve Estimation for the Panasqueira Mine, as of the end of September 2016. The Panasqueira mine is located in central Portugal, in the Distrito de Castelo Branco, on the southern edge of the Serra da Estrela, a Portuguese mountain range approximately 300 km north-east of the Portuguese capital city of Lisbon and 200 km southeast of the port city of Porto. Two main types of samples are taken for resource and reserve estimation purposes: diamond drillhole samples and face mapping of wolframite crystals. The evaluation work was carried out and prepared in compliance with Canadian National Instrument 43-101, and the mineral resources in this estimate were calculated using the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), CIM Standards on Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions and Guidelines prepared by the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve Definitions and adopted by CIM Council May, 2014. The current in-situ resource estimation for measured and indicated resources is shown in Table 1-1, and inferred resources are shown in Table 1-2 and Table 1-3. These resources are inclusive of the reported reserves. There are no measured resources external to reserves, as all resources classified as measured have been converted into proven or probable reserves. | |
