| ABSTRACT: | Alicanto Minerals Ltd (ASX: AQI) (“Alicanto” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce its maiden exploration programme in the Oxberg and Naverberg VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide) Project within the highly endowed Bergslagen Mining District of Sweden has returned high-grade results. In addition, a 12,000 metre diamond drill programme is ongoing at Alicanto’s Arakaka Gold Project in Guyana. This programme is fully funded under the Earn-In Agreement with NordGold SE (ASX 19/08/19). Alicanto expects results from Arakaka in the coming weeks. Both reconnaissance style drill holes intersected shallow massive sulphides (see Figure 1 and Figure 2) and assays confirm the high tenor of the mineralisation with exceptionally high grades of up to 9.5% Copper, 16g/t Gold and 8.2% Zinc. Results also returned significant assays for silver (up to 285g/t) & Lead (up to 3.9%). | |
