| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Ltd (“Aeon” or “the Company”) owner of one of Australia’s biggest undeveloped base metals projects in north-west Queensland, the Walford Creek project, is pleased to announce assay results from its fourth drill hole (WFDD266) in its most recent drilling campaign, which include further high copper and cobalt grades. This solid intersection 250m west of the previous hole WFDD265 confirms the extremely good continuity and consistency of the copper and cobalt mineralisation in the PY3 unit. Despite this hole intersecting very good grades of copper-cobalt, it did not intersect the full extent of lower PY3 unit. The PY3 unit had dipped lower than anticipated and the hole therefore only tested the upper portion of the PY3 before being cut off by the Fish River Fault. Despite that, the consistently good grades of copper and cobalt with significant silver is now being clearly shown to be continuous in the PY3 unit. This hole also sits at the western edge of the Vardy Resource where no other holes have adequately intercepted the PY3 with most drilling having focussed on the strongly mineralised PY1 zone close to surface. In addition to the high grade PY3 mineralisation, strong base metals mineralisation was also intersected in the PY1 unit as shown on the cross section.
