| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Limited (“Aeon” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce further diamond drill assay results for holes WFDD237, WFDD238, WFDD239 and WFDD241 at Walford Creek. These holes were drilled asinfill holes within the Vardy Resource and, with the exception of hole WFDD241, were designed to better test the high grade PY 3 pyritic unit against the Fish River Fault (“FRF”). Confidence in the geological model built on the large and robust geological database is now enabling the geological team to better target holes, particularly on the slightly deeper PY3 pyrite lens. This exceptional intercept in WFDD238 follows the assay from hole WFDD236 where another high grade copper intercept was reported (see the Company’s announcement of 14 July 2017). Since drilling commenced in early May, 18 diamond drill holes have been completed for a total of 2,159m. To date a further 15 RC holes have been drilled for 1,519m. The drill hole locations for the holes completed to date are shown in Figures 2 and 3. Some of the RC holes are drilled as pre-collars for deeper holes which will be completed using the diamond coring technique. | |
