| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Limited (“Aeon” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce assay results for 5 more holes at Walford Creek. These holes (WFDD 228 to 232), located outside of the current Vardy Resource to the northeast and stepped along strike from the previous four holes announced on 13 June 2017, have also intersected significant mineralisation including high grade copper and cobalt adjacent to the Fish River Fault (“FRF”). The first 9 holes of the 2017 drill program have now defined the FRF as having been jogged or offset to the north-east over approximately 200m along a ENE fault offset and then continuing east under cover. A plan has been developed to drill a number of RC holes to locate the FRF under cover and the diamond drill rig on site will be converted to RC for this purpose, and RC drilling will commence shortly. Approximate RC hole locations are also shown on Figure 1. A total of ~1,900m from 15 holes have now been completed since the drilling commenced at the start of May. | |
