| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Limited (“Aeon” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce assay results for 2 more holes at Walford Creek. Both holes, located outside of the Vardy Resource to the northeast and stepped along strike from the two holes announced on 5 June, have intersected significant mineralisation, once again including high grade cobalt. Geoscience analysis is proceeding to determine the best approach to delineate the eastward extension over ~800m of the Fish River Fault and define drilling targets. A total of 1,616m from 14 holes has been completed since drilling commenced in early May. Currently 8 holes are in the assay lab. Importantly, based on the assay results announced for the 4 holes to date and geological logging of the additional 10 holes for which assays are awaited, it is expected that material tonnage will be added to the Vardy Cu-Co-Zn Project. Infill drilling is now being undertaken inside the Vardy Zone with four holes completed and a fifth hole underway pending definition of drilling targets on the eastward extension of the Fish River Fault. | |
