| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Limited (“Aeon” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide results for RC holes WFRC259 and WFRC260 drilled during July at its 100% owned Walford Creek Project in North West Queensland. The drill hole locations for the holes completed to date are shown in Figure 1, noting WFRC260 was drilled as a RC pre-collar for a deeper hole which will be completed using the diamond core technique. This mineralisation confirms and extends the high-grade mineralisation encountered in hole WFDD240, 30m to the east (20m @ 4.45% Cu and 0.20% Co from 35m) reported by the Company on 27 July 2017. Since drilling commenced in early May, 22 diamond drill holes have been completed for a total of 2,349m (four of those having pre-collars). A further 17 exploratory RC holes have been drilled for 2,138m. Assay results for 5 holes are pending. | |
