| ABSTRACT: | Aeon Metals Ltd (“Aeon” or “the Company”) today provides further assay resultsfrom drilling within the Vardy and Marley Resource at the Company’s 100% owned Walford Creek Project. The Resource drilling is focussed on upgrading the current JORC Resource to an Indicated status which will facilitate the development of the Walford Creek Project. The holes being reported today include both infill holes between previous sections and several ‘close off’ holes as discussed in previous announcements. The drilling has confirmed the continuation of high-grade Cu-Co from Vardy into the eastern Marley resource. The assays results announced today (see Figures 1-6, and Appendix 1: Significant Intercepts) are for 5 holes which are located in either Vardy or Marley. The holes include WFPD284 within the central Vardy zone and then a series of holes in eastern Marley including WFDH313, WFDH319, WFDH339 and WFDH363. Significant assays in this round of results include. The drilling completed in the eastern region of the Marley Resource shows that high grade copper and cobalt continues through from Vardy with grades comparable to those seen consistently within Vardy. This emphasises the strong grade continuity through the Py3 unit and the clear zonation between the high-grade copper and cobalt core and the flanking peripheral lead, zinc, silver and cobalt mineralisation. | |
