ABSTRACT:Adriatic Metals PLC (ASX:ADT & FSE:3FN) (‘Adriatic’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce that it has received assay results for several drill holes from its 100% owned Rupice deposit. Figure 1 illustrates a plan view of the drilling locations. Adriatic’s Chief Executive Officer, Geraint Harris commented, “BR-25-18 is an exciting hole because it has potential for extending the plunge mineralisation back to the south and into an area where there was no previous drilling. In addition to the Northern plunge, this will be a second focus area for Adriatic to expand the known areas of mineralisation at Rupice.” BR-25-18 intercepted a thick zone of high-grade mineralisation over 46m returning 12.7% Zn, 9.6% Pb, 309g/t Ag, 4.1g/t Au, 1.0% Cu from 218m, and 34m at 51% BaSO4 from 218m. Significantly, the middle part of this wide intercept contained higher lead and zinc grades and returned the following interval at greater than 10% lead or zinc (Table 1) The high-grade mineralisation in BR-25-18 is located somewhat deeper and further to the south-east than interpreted, suggesting that the observed northsouth plunge direction of the high-grade, which has been drilled over a distance of nearly 200m to the north, may also extend to the south east into an area where there is no historical drilling (Figure 1). Adriatic is also pleased to report the current progress of hole BR-35-18, which has been drilled approximately 30m to the south-east of BR-25-18, has field observations indicating significant thickness of mineralisation. The Company will report the assay results when they are received.
