ABSTRACT:Adriatic Metals PLC (ASX:ADT & FSE:3FN) (‘Adriatic’ or the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce that it has received assay results from two further drill holes from the current programme at Rupice. Figure 1 illustrates a plan view of the drilling locations. Adriatic’s Chief Executive Officer, Geraint Harris commented, “BR-22-18 continues to confirm not just the continuity of the thick and high-grade mineralisation but the spectacular precious metals content not previously assayed in the majority of the historical drilling, and which will be incorporated into our maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Rupice.” OVERVIEW BR-22-18 intercepted a thick zone of high-grade mineralisation over 42m returning 14.1% Zn, 8.4% Pb, 245g/t Ag, 5.7g/t Au, 1.4% Cu from 222m, and 32m at 47% BaSO4 from 220m. Significantly, gold and silver grades returned the following interval at greater than 5g/t gold, (precious metals were not assayed for in the nearby historical drill hole BR-76-89): • 24m at 8.6g/t gold and 332 g/t silver from 226m BR-22-18 was drilled on a more westerly azimuth (242o grid north) than usual to acquire gold and silver (and copper) assay data in the vicinity of historical drill hole BR-76-89 (Figure 2). BR-23-18 intersected a wider interval of mineralised breccia than its nearest historical neighbour (BR-61-86) returning 12m @ 1.4% Zn, 2.8% Pb, 228g/t Ag, 0.8g/t Au, 0.3% Cu, and 16% BaSO4 from 74m. The hole was drilled in a southwesterly direction at -65˚ and targeted up-dip mineralisation to the west of the high-grade zone (Figure 3).
