ABSTRACT: | This Technical Report presents a maiden inferred resource on the Acacia Prospect of 3.46 million tonnes at 12.1 grams per tonne for 1.31 million ounces and the exploration potential of the Bushiangala Prospect. Both prospects are on the Liranda Corridor within Busia-Kakamega Greenstone Belt in western Kenya. The report is effective 07 February 2017. The Acacia and Bushiangala prospects are covered by leases 100% owned by Acacia Exploration Kenya Ltd (AEK). The report has been prepared by Acacia in conjunction with AdiuvareGE in accordance with the requirements of National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101), “Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects”, of the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA). An independent inspection of the prospects was undertaken by the Qualified Person C. Pitman, of AdiuvareGE, between 4 November 2016 and 7 November 2016, to ensure that the data used for the estimate could reasonably be relied upon. The site inspection was designed to verify geological interpretations, outline the geological relationships and confirm the mineralisation types within the area. Additional time was spent in Kenya working with the site personnel, while developing the geological and mineralisation models for both prospects within the Project area. The Liranda Corridor is located in the County of Kakamega within the Western Province of Kenya. The Acacia and Bushiangala prospect lie approximately 48 km north northwest of Kisumu City (Kenya’s third largest City) and 350 km west of Nairobi. | |
