ABSTRACT:In July of 2018 Mr. Kelly Malcolm, P. Geo, of Generic Geo Inc. of Toronto, Ontario, was contracted by AK Gold Inc. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to write a Technical Report in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 on its Dokis property in northeastern Ontario, Canada. A one-day property visit was conducted on July 18th of 2018 as a due-diligence exercise for the purposes of this report. The Dokis property consists of forty four (44) claims within one contiguous land package and is geographically centered at UTM NAD 83 Zone 17 U 607000 mE 5358300 mN and is approximately 42 kilometres northwest of the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario and 44 kilometres southwest of the City of Timmins, Ontario. The property was first acquired in October of 2014 by a staking syndicate comprised of Graham Stone, Gordon Hume, and Bill Hume and was optioned to Dokis Resources Inc. in July of 2018. The regional area surrounding the property was subject to a significant base metal exploration campaign in the 1960’s and 1990’s, following the discovery of several other significant mines in the Kirkland Lake, Larder Lake, and Rouyn-Noranda areas. The Dokis property is located in the south-central portion of the Abitibi greenstone belt within a large package of Blake River assemblage volcano-sedimentary rocks. The Blake River group consists of high Fe and high Mg basalts, felsic volcanic units of variable chemical properties, and turbiditic metasediments, as well as lesser tholeiitic basalts and pyroclastic units. Cherty exhalates and other minor sedimentary units represent small-scale depositional gaps in the volcanic stratigraphy. The Blake River assemblage is host to numerous gold and base metal mines and occurrences elsewhere in the area. Although the Dokis property is still at a fairly early stage of exploration it represents a “property of merit” due to the base and precious metal showings identified to date, regional structures, local geology, and proximity to the Kirkland Lake gold camp.
