AusIMM, in partnership with RSC, has developed two professional development courses, helping mining and resource professionals report effectively in accordance with the JORC Code.

• The Online Professional Certificate in JORC Code Reporting is available online, with enrolments now open for the next intake in September.

• JORC Code Essentials is available in two study modes – a face-to-face workshop (in Sydney or Perth in August) or online from November 2019.

Online Professional Certificate in JORC Code Reporting

JORC Code Reporting course was specifically designed for resource professionals, who are responsible for public reporting.

The eight-week course provides an in-depth understanding of the JORC Code, including recognising obligations and liabilities, demonstrating its correct applications across different industries, and appropriately applying the Code in the reporting environment under the ASX and ASIC.

Our Managing Director, René Sterk, has contributed content to all six modules. Following the successful completion, participants obtain a Professional Certificate in JORC Code Reporting.

JORC Code Essentials 

The AusIMM JORC Code Essentials course teaches mining Company Directors and Officers how to navigate the intricacies of public reporting in accordance with codes and standards, stock exchange listing rules and regulation.

This course is vital to understanding one’s professional and regulatory obligations, particularly when reporting to the Stock Exchanges under the JORC Code in Australasia. The course guides participants through the intricacies of public reporting in accordance with JORC codes and standards.
