RSC has assisted a number of clients on the sunny west coast of New Zealand. More recently RSC has been running exploration programmes for mesothermal gold near the iconic gold mining township of Reefton. This involved helicopter supported diamond drilling programmes, where RSC implemented the work and ran all site logistics for the client.

These projects were extensions of the mesothermal Reefton Goldfield that has historically produced 2.1M ounces of gold and now has new discoveries (Globe Progress) in production. The style of disseminated gold mineralisation associated with quartz veins that is being mined at the Reefton Goldfield, also has the potential to be present in these areas.

In 2012 RSC also provided two coal geologists for a client on their fully operational Underground Mine in the hills of Dunollie, found on New Zealand’s beautiful west coast just north of Greymouth.
