Geology recruitment advertising has been increasing continuously since the end of April 2014 with the underlying advertising numbers increasing by 32% during that period. This week the shine was taken off the market growth with the RSC Mining and Exploration Global Geology Employment Index falling to lower-lows resulting from a drop in advertising of 5 percent across the week.  That's certainly not the end of the world and advertising levels still remain higher than in the 9 months before June but it's a reminder that we're not out of the woods yet.

There is still no sign of an improvement in advertised jobs in Australia with advertising remaining around the lowest it has been since RSC's records began in September.
